My problem has been solved. I have a Frigidaire Gallery stainless steel, model number not sure. I'm glad it fits. After two years, after using the original several times, the door would no longer lock. This in turn caused the washing machine to continue its cycle even when the door was open or not latched because the latch was actually latched on the inside. After you unplugged the unit to reset it, you couldn't select a cycle because the latch was locked and couldn't be locked. After unplugging the unit and disassembling the door with six torx screws and 4 phillips screws, I unclipped the door hook with 2 more torx screws. Disconnect the connectors and notice where the black and white goes. Very easy installation.
