Good chair cushion with heating/vibration and a good range of settings

Like many people, I work from home and wanted my situation to be a little more comfortable. I used to have a very similar heating/massage pad from HoMedics, but it stopped working a while ago and it was time to replace it anyway. At the moment I like this Mynt rug better. The padding is just enough to cushion the engines and internals (so they don't hit your back or legs) but not so thick that it's odd to sit in a chair. I've noticed that some other reviews complain that the massage function is actually just a vibration. If you expect to feel like you've just left a masseuse, then this chair pad is not for you. Honestly, you're probably expecting too much. Massage settings: high/low with upper back/lower back/thighs. Areas can be activated simultaneously, individually or in combination. Massage modes: Pulse/Tap/Rotate/Auto - I can't comment much on that as I just turn it on without selecting a mode/pattern. The vibration is fine for me, the low setting is comfortable for longer periods. In addition, the heat is pleasant, not too hot, but you can definitely say that it works. The seat gets a little warmer after a while, but there doesn't seem to be a setting to isolate heat from specific areas - it's all or nothing. I also love that the chair cushion comes with a wall adapter and a car adapter. I'll probably never use it in the car, but it might be nice to take with me on a long trip. So far I've used this pad multiple times a day for a few weeks and again it compares to more expensive brands. I'm glad I took it.
