Bought this bag for a 2500 mile tour from Seattle to Jackson, Wyoming, through Yellowstone and back home with my wife. The bag is processed perfectly. Not a helmet bag, but I think it's the perfect size for a touring backpack. Easily fits two pairs of raincoats, sweatshirts, snack bags, goggles, face masks, gloves. the list goes on, and all the lotions and potions the woman takes with her for protection from the sun and the like. Basically anything she always wants to have access to when she gets off her bike. A great addition to saddlebags and backpacking and when packed properly they saved us from reaching into other bags until we stopped for the night. This is a well-made, durable bag that's slim and unobtrusive. Not just a big tissue box. It holds its shape when empty, but I think too many empty miles can cause it to collapse. The left and right edges are rounded, perfect for a rolled up raincoat. The bungee system on the bottom is great and holds tight, but I don't like the Velcro on the four corners that much. They work well but are a pain to apply (IMHO) but the benefits of this bag far outweigh these minor inconveniences. In short, after all that chatter, this is a great bag. If you want to stow your helmets in your bag on top of your backpack, keep looking. but if you want a solid travel backpack that looks good, roomy and stylish, buy this one.
