Love this antenna, I used to have a stainless steel pin on my truck bed. I have since installed a Firestik fs2 4' 900w on the driver's side front fender. So far it works amazing, I matched it to CB head unit and it reaches a long distance since there is no amplifier. I would recommend this product and the seller. The seller sent quickly, the antenna works perfectly when connected. I'll post a photo when I get a chance to show what I did for a better picture. You also need a strong spring for this antenna. Update I removed the spring because it was bending towards my side window at high speeds, although the SWR was good. I just don't want to know what's going on behind me. After installation without a spring, the SWR values dropped even more. I am very happy with the set I have: Bearcat 880, High Gear S500 external speaker on throttle, Firestik universal hood mount and 4900 watt Firestik fs2. It will reach about 10 miles on rough terrain.
