My son and I learned the hard way the first time we flew him - the lighter the car seat the better! Now that we are experienced parents, we knew we would need a lightweight car seat for our little girl. We make annual trips across the country and usually make at least one stopover. As we use car seats on flights, we need to take the car seat with us to the gate, on the plane and during our transfers. This little car seat is made for the job. Yes, it's no frills and thinner when it comes to the padding, but we're ok with that since it's used for travel. When we are not traveling we will be using it in my husband's car. Since I am the main porter of the Munchkins, this car seat is not used. Diono will remain our primary car seat.
