First you will get a newer version than the one in the photo. The lid is now all gray to match your mood and/or impression when receiving the tablet. If you have fond memories of old Mead writing records, they are likely to be destroyed for the following reasons: 1. The cardboard backing is flimsy and doesn't even support the pad; Hold him at the end and he will flop to the bottom like a dead fish. 2. Paper is slightly thinner. Nice try Mead, but yeah, it's noticeable.3. The paper is glued to the tray, not glued around the edge. Carefully remove the sheet? I hope you enjoy the torn edges on all 100 pages because that's impossible. As a bonus if you order from a third party like me the pads will be shipped in a plain PVC envelope and all edges will crumple in transit. .I wish I could return them but sorry I'm going in the bin.
