Yes, you pay a lot of money for a unit of Tupperware. I'm not the type to waste money, but these containers have saved me so much money. I only order groceries every two weeks which means there should be enough groceries for a full two weeks. I've been eating red leaf lettuce in this container for the past 16 days. If we hadn't eaten it could have taken longer. :) On the 16th day it was as fresh as on the 1st day. I've used a few other containers for pumpkins, carrots, peppers, and more. Just follow the instructions and adjust the dial depending on what you're putting in the container.
