The blue color of the bulb does not reach the metal base of the screw so it emits a significant amount of white light. That means we have a net distance of about 3/8 inch, and that's unacceptable. I used blue tape to wrap around this clean gap, which I didn't need to do if they were done correctly. Also, the blue color is quite thick, so the amount of light/brightness is also poor for a 60w bulb. I think you get what you pay for. Should have gone with an LED but I would very rarely use it.
