This is a great insect repellent that really works! We had some bug issues inside due to our crappy screen door and this solved all our problems. It kills flies, fruit flies, moths and mosquitoes and anyone else foolish enough to get too close, including me. After 24 hours nothing was flying around the house sticking to anyone and the surrounding blue-purple glow makes it a pretty cool kitchen night light. The lamp has a plastic wire protector that makes it really hard to touch the electrified part. That being said, if you really want to find out for yourself, you'll get a non-lethal awakening charge (for science!). Highly recommended for anyone with bug issues.
