My shower stall has a textured floor that gets VERY slippery when you wash it off your body and especially your hair conditioner, it gets dangerously slippery! Conventional bath mats are useless because the textured bottom prevents the suction cups from sticking. As a result, after rinsing, I had to hold one foot in place and wipe with the other foot! This loofah rug stays in place! A word of caution: do not let the conditioner wash off on the mat or it will lose some of its grip and move around a bit with the slippery substance underneath. Still an absolute 100+% improvement as I no longer worry as much about my legs slipping out from under me!
