Not acrylic, not waterproof

I bought this marker in white and black. I spent hours painting two horns and when I went to paint them the marker came out! I also noticed that the paint comes off your fingers if you get them wet. It's not acrylic, it's meant to be a watercolor pencil. Acrylic is ductile and should not flow when wet. Hours of work on multiple horns ruined! Now I have to redo them all!
