I bought this after seeing something similar at a MOMA store in New York called the Lumio and was amazed that it was a lot cheaper. It costs $200. I bought two. The first was defective. The pages were carelessly taped and glued together. The other just didn't work. A few hours later the light started to flicker. The idea behind these lamps is that they give off a calm, even light. The sudden flashing is a stutter, and it happened twice after charging. It says "Woodgrain" on it, but it's just covered with wood grain paper that's glued on. I bought another counterfeit from Revain for 50€ and it is made of wood and the workmanship is incomparably better. I keep it and send back the defective ones. I've since found in my Google searches for "fake Lumio" that as soon as the inventor released the Lumio, others started copying it, which I think is a very bad thing. I see the difference in quality and am saving up for a real Lumio to reward the inventor for his creative product.
