Red fluff everywhere forever

I really wanted to love this blanket because it's so beautiful: super soft and a beautiful shade of red. Unfortunately, it's not very warm and tends to be so slippery that it slides right off the bed. But worst of all, after washing and drying (that sucks, I know; I should have read the washing instructions that say I should let my king-size comforter air dry somewhere), it turned into a down factory . Red heaps everywhere. . . on a layered blanket, on socks, on towels, in the bathroom. . . Seriously, I have a feeling we're never going to get these redhead furries out of the house. If "beautiful is just as beautiful", that's no longer a snuggle blanket for me.
