Let's start with a disadvantage of these cartridges. They don't come with a chip (not HP). The missing chip is easily fixed by removing the old one from the old cartridge and putting it in it. You should also turn off low ink notifications on your computer, otherwise you might go insane. That's bad, now for the good. They last a lot longer than the smaller 58a cartridge and you get 2 for about the same price as one of these smaller cartridges. That's over $100 cheaper than the HP 58x. Just wondering if the savings on chip replacement and disabling ink notifications are worth it. For me it is absolutely worth it.
