I find the strap is very good at relieving pain when walking or standing, but helps very little with stiffness when standing or sitting. That being said, I find it useful enough to wear all the time, even before bed. It has to do something if I choose to do it. I usually take meloxicam, an anti-inflammatory, but I'm in the process of getting PRP shots in both knees, which will require me going off anti-inflammatories for about two months. I believe if I go back on meloxicam the straps will relieve the pain around me much better. However, this is only my hope. I say that because meloxicam really reduces pain significantly.
