Review on RTA Galvanized Steel 15 Bottle Capacity by Ashley Santiago

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Basic Inexpensive wine rack that is difficult to assemble.

This is a simple 6 bottle wine rack. Untreated pine wood. I wouldn't call assembly easy as it was difficult to line up the front and rear aluminum braces over the pine bars. I assembled it with a hammer on the carpeted floor. The probability of breaking pine branches is high. Especially when working hard as you have to bend everything to get it straight. Apparently the factory sent a package of nails designed for the 9 bottle cage. As the instructions say, there should be 12 nails, and there were 20 nails. So after assembly I had a lot of spare parts. There is no glue included. Luckily I had an old bottle of wood glue. I used glue after assembly after thinking you really need to glue it on to keep the A-pillars from falling apart. All in all, this wine rack doesn't bother me after gluing everything together. She will remain in my fruit cellar in the basement, out of sight of guests. I would recommend someone else to spend more on another wine rack if ease of assembly and looks are important. I would call this wine rack a DIY wine rack that can be customized to your liking.
