The had came folded so it took a couple of days for the foam in the brim to settle down. Sun coverage is good but the top of the hat is a bit too large and doesn't look as tailored as other sun hats we have which are slightly smaller on top. Ventilation is acceptable but could definitely be better. The back flap covers your neck for sun, but it would have been better to have at least 1 or 2 more attachment points to the hat, it also would have been better to have them spaced away just a half inch or so from your head so that the flap stays off your neck. Finally the sewing on the face mask was crap (see photo) and while it works, it is too high and doesn't stay in place. It doesn't seem like they tested their pattern at all before making these. Yes, keeps sun off your face and neck but could have been a lot better designed.
