I was hoping for a dimmable LED. While this will work, I don't think it does a good job of dimming everything. In my kitchen I have 2 LED lights with a dimmable switch, although it dims in there and I can live with any weird flickering I get. In my bathroom I have 6 lightbulbs that only dim to a certain percentage. I feel like they only dim about 40% and any reduction turns them off completely, even if the knob isn't all the way down. This lets the person try to get the "perfect" mids without going blind at 4am. The lamps keep turning off and on as the person tries to find a lower dimming level than the 40% of the light hitting the eyes. What's even more annoying is that I have to watch all this under my door in the hallway. I think they work great as non-dimmable bulbs or maybe even in lower bulb units. But for me, a dimmable LED is one that can work with any number of light sources and still dim completely. Just a note, none of the bulbs are in a closed block.
