I am pleased to report that this item was well received by both myself and my fellow travelers on my trip to Italy. That's great. The locks keep everyone in check, they're tricky and require two hands to keep out of pickpocketing. I carry the bag a few days beforehand to prepare for the trip and so far so good. The strap does not slip, very comfortable. goes through the body without any problems. I wish they were camel colored. but maybe they'll take that into account next time. Plenty of pockets to stash things and for those who like to keep things organized this is a huge plus. Also, there is a little light, which was nice. The inner compartment is large, but your netbook will still be there. I was able to pack my iPad, phone, camera, tissues and a few extra items, as well as my passport, credit cards, sunglasses and the like. really great purchase and peace of mind. I only hear pickpockets in Rome and Naples. So I didn't want to bother with a belt that stands out. Hope this helps others. Oh, and I think someone mentioned that velcro is tricky. You must have redone it as the velcro on the front is in a triangular shape, keeping it away from clothing and keeping the flap secure. Also, there are more zippers with smart locks at the bottom. This is the perfect bag for those who want to travel worry-free. Hooray!
