Much better than drinking out of paper cups! I saved a lot of paper cup refills when I lost my Copco and I can give it to a barista (and maybe save some as a refill cup discount). I don't like drinking out of paper cups - they're soft, can get hot (if they loosen from their bindings), and the liner gives off flavor. Paper cup lids often don't fit, while Copco seals when rolled up properly. Leaving a cup open in your car's cup holder will fill it with shrapnel and dust, which is why lids are necessary and also to prevent spills while driving. Reduce coffee stains! I didn't realize how much I needed my Copco until I lost mine. Used paper cups are piling up! This dual set allows me to have a spare that I can top up with tea before heading out and a second, less caffeine option for when the coffee runs out. with environmental benefits (and true fixed heat range). Some baristas douse it with hot water before reusing it. I frequent independent stores, not chains (rare) and they usually take the cleaning easy. At home I make extra French Drops, then I fill one of these, put it in the fridge overnight, then Viola, that's iced coffee in the morning. As far as I can tell they don't affect the flavor in any way - don't say that about the paper! Recommend cleaning the rims as I noticed a few cut plastic bits/tails near the rim. A quick clean removed them. A dishwasher is required before first use. The price is good.
