So my radio fogged up after I turned it on and bench tested it for about an hour and a half. I was very disappointed. But as a professional mechanic, I took it apart down to the front panel. There are about 18 screws in total. I then dried all the water and condensation, then took my heat gun and heated the entire faceplate and circuitry to about 140 degrees. Then I closed it almost completely but put a straw inside to wipe the air and blew out all the air and moisture. The air in the air purifier is very dry. Combined with heat I should have no more condensation. I closed everything again and tested another four hours on the bench. There is no more condensation. Then since I will be using it on a jet ski I applied additional E6000 sealant to the back where the wires run. It's sealed pretty well, but a little extra never hurt anyone. The only complaint I have is that the factory has to do this cleaning. Another thing to note is that this radio operates at a maximum temperature of 170 degrees Fahrenheit. With no fans and not many cooling fins, I don't know if this radio will really last long. But it survived up to four hours of very loud gaming in my garage and didn't overheat or break. So I install. I will update if it breaks. If it hasn't been updated, it still works fine. Today is June 18th, 2020. As for the sound, it's pretty good when I put the speakers in the jet ski. He doesn't have much base on the bench but that's to be expected. Overall I think it will be loud enough for my needs with the input lamp and the sound quality is quite acceptable. By the way, this does not mean that it comes with an antenna. And he also has 10 feet of speaker wire. It would be nice to know before you buy those extra things. Oh, and he also has the hardware to mount a radio and speakers. All are aluminum and stainless steel. It also has a gasket behind the radio and speakers. Well I hope my review helps.
