After my previous Surface Pro slipped out of my briefcase and angrily crashed into the floor of my car, I decided to beef up the protection of the new Surface this time around. I still wanted to be able to use my Surface Pro in a larger portfolio. Procase seemed to fit the bill. The color is perfect navy blue which is what I was looking for. And the simple design slides right into my portfolio. But upon arrival there were a couple of obvious issues. First, there were unsightly chalk and handprints all over the cover, even though the cover was plastic-wrapped. Second, the bottom of my Surface could not be secured into the clips on the bottom of the case. This means the Surface can slide out of the lid when I'm using it in tablet mode. Third, the cover makes my surface very heavy. I had to check the weight. But I was spoiled by the lightweight case I could buy for my iPad. Overall I don't think this coating offers enough protection. I will be returning it hoping to find a case with a better fit and cleanliness.
