Soft but VERY thick.
This cloak is soft and a good length, but be aware - it's heavy (for a scarf) and VERY thick. It feels like you are wearing a large plush towel. I could see it would be fine in a cool house or outside in extreme temperatures but good luck folding under a matching coat. Maybe it's a great snuggle piece for a pet bed? He is very soft.
