My 5-year-old daughter is not only tall, but also very slim and is currently wearing size 128 (with a slight upward trend). You fit these two dresses perfectly. She thinks it's great that they go down to her ankles.* Size and cut: From the shoulder to the bottom edge of the hem, both dresses are size 128 (= size 8) c. 93 cm long. The bottom hem is slightly scalloped so it hangs further down the center than it does on the sides. The dresses are quite slim fitting, especially at the bottom, so they are probably best suited to very slim children. Climbing is not possible at all, running only to a limited extent. Since my daughter spends a lot of time outside and still likes to romp around, the clothes are not really optimal for everyday life. They are also out of the question for kindergarten. They are not fine enough for festive occasions.* Quality: It is pleasing that the clothes can be washed at 40°C and can withstand the dryer. Even after washing, there were no loose threads or the like to be found. They are also hardly wrinkled, so that you can usually save yourself the ironing. This is not noticeable at all with the pink dress, with the plain turquoise one it hangs a lot. The dresses are 100% cotton and are made in Cambodia. They don't have an Oeko-Tex certification.* Appearance: Admittedly, I hesitated a little when ordering because I didn't find the pink dress with the diamonds that appealing. In the meantime I have to say that it is even the prettier of the two dresses and looks really good. The bows at the waist are pretty but not functional. However, I find these clothes quite impractical as they can only be worn if it is clear that the species will stay at home for the foreseeable future and will not romp around. And if the child's urge to move is artificially restricted just because of a piece of clothing, I take a rather critical view of it.
