Just got back from a photography vacation with my Canon M6, this lens and another lens from 7artisans. I left the kit lens at home. F/1.2 used to be the property of exotic lenses costing thousands of dollars. This is a great little lens, fast and compact. Ideal "normal" glass for walking. This is not a lens for ultra-sharp photography. To do this, use the standard lens. Instead, take a 35mm 1.2 if you're shooting in the evening or photographing poorly lit museum pieces (where it's allowed, of course!). The bokeh is surprisingly soft and the shallow depth of field is great for making your subject stand out. Update: After carefully reviewing the images captured with this lens, I suspected that the infinity focus wasn't quite right. A quick adjustment brought the lens to infinity sharpness. 7Crafters need to step up their quality control game, but there are good guides on the web for Infinity Focus self-calibration.
