Bought a medium sized unicorn for my 20lb Shih Tzu. It suited him perfectly. I ended up buying other small animal figurines for other family dogs between 10 and 14 pounds. Everything Shih Tzu. I know it depends on head size, just wanted to share my experience. Small would be too small for my dog. (I've tried others, doesn't fit) It was very good quality and clearly well made. I love it. My dog was less enthusiastic. he wanted to play with it. I think he thought it was a stuffed animal and didn't understand why I put it on his head. I managed to photograph it and it was precious. I bought it pretty close to Halloween and I think if I had gotten it sooner I might have been able to teach him to wear it after a few tries. Really good article.
