This was a good tool to help my nephew learn to solve puzzles. It is great for a young age and a good way to learn body parts as well for animals. These are very simple pop into place puzzle pieces. The puzzles pieces have unique pieces that pair to only three to four pieces so it cannot be mixed up. Each animal has it's own puzzle design so it does have some variety to them. Each puzzle has their own unique animal. The animals name is also on the puzzle but no other word associations. This is mainly to help with puzzle solving. The colors also make it easier to do so. It is a good learning tool for my nephew. He is able to just puts them together and help develop his problem solving and learning. The pieces and boards are well made. They are thick wooden pieces. Overall this is a good early stage tool to help a child learn to do basic problem solving and learn a bit of word association. The pieces are well made and everything is well printed on so it should not fade easily. They are durable to survive the every day use and abuse from toddlers.
