Nice appearance, good airtight seal. The low profile and stacking worked well for me. I have never put them in the dishwasher, but after the first experience I would be afraid. After I liked the first one so much, I ordered 3 more, of the 3 I received, one was slightly warped. It wasn't standing upright on the tabletop. So, in a brilliant fit, I popped it into my toaster on low heat without even heating it up. I finished removing the labels from the remaining two and quickly rinsed them off. maybe 2 minutes max I turn and see there was a stuffed hamster in the oven lol curled up in a ball. So yes it happened. and I ordered another one, so I have 4 even.
