Does not work

Does not work. I have three camcorders with mini HDMI connectors. I bought it to use with standard HDMI cables. Does not work on any camera (2 cameras JVC Everio and Canon Vixia R80). The cameras don't even recognize the connected cable. Switch back to the standard HDMI to mini HDMI cable and the cameras will work.
