First I just want to say that I love NRS products. They are consistently the best quality I have seen for waterwear. However, the opening to slip into these particular ankle boots is MUCH small. There is a small tab/loop on the back. To put them on I had to slip the handle through this bar/loop so I could get a good grip and then tuck my feet in. As soon as I put them on, they started cutting off the circulation in my legs! Not the booties themselves, just the hole. They were a half to full size larger than the shoes I normally wear; If I had ordered a larger size they would have been too long and I doubt the hole would have been bigger. I know they're supposed to be snug, but they're too tight. Aside from the opening, they're really comfortable, well made, and well worth the price. But for now, I'm just sticking with my highs that I got from NRS.
