These shower curtain rings look great as they are not your standard smooth rings. If you use them and don't need to change anything, you'll probably like them. My rating is based on design. They have a hinge to open and close, and the latch is a ratchet-type clasp. The problem occurs when you need to open them. You must spread the open ends to release the clasp that bends the ring at the swivel. When closing the ring, you then have to fold it back again so that the clasp engages. This bending affects the durability of these rings.
