It's plastic. Ghost key caps much better. Should have come with these.

I am used to mechanical keyboards but they are too loud for other house members.This keyboard is nice but it's plastic rather than aluminum frame I prefer. Keys were initially perfectly quiet but now with some gaming in, they make a weird squishy noise. I am not quite sure how to phrase it.They upgraded ghost key caps are much better than the stock ones which are shite. Should have come with they keyboard for that price rather than an additional 50.
