Review on Sonic XML Server by Bryce Wohlman

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Sonic ESB is a messaging platform designed to handle large volumes of messages in real time.

1) XML Servers offers very fast performance for large volumes of messages, even when receiving a huge number of messages in a short period of time. With very small amounts of RAM, we could load up to 50000 messages in under 2 minutes. It was an amazing experience to see how fast the server processed these messages. 2) With powerful tools such as XPath and XQuery, Sonic ESB provides a way to access any document stored in Sonic XML Server. This means that you can read, edit and manipulate any kind of document without having to convert them into the proprietary format. You can easily perform tasks such as: - Replace text - Delete a node or replace it with another - Find the ID of a specific node - Perform complex searches - Create new nodes - Add or remove attributes - Create new tags - Merge nodes 3) Sonic ESB has advanced capabilities for managing large quantities of data in real time. Thanks to its distributed architecture, the system handles millions of requests per second. We can process up to 20 million transactions per hour (24 hours). If the size of a single message exceeds 8KB, the transaction will be split into multiple transactions, and each message will be assigned to a particular processor.
