Oh my god I wish I could give this product more than 5 stars. My kids knocked my iMac over on the table, it landed on a ceramic countertop and smashed the screen. It's mid 2011 so quite old and I got scared right away thinking it would cost more to replace the glass than the whole unit was worth. (Considering that replacing the iPhone screen costs over $100). But then I searched YouTube for how to replace it and found this list on Amazon. I figured $40 was worth a try. Arrived well packaged, no cracks or chips. The entire installation took less than 5 minutes including removing the old broken glass which took almost 5 minutes. It was as easy as using my nails and a credit card to detach the old glass and then the new glass was simply aligned with metal clips and snapped in place with magnets. So easy, looks like new. I highly recommend this item! I wish I had photographed the broken glass before removing it, but you get the point.
