Advantages: Convenient temperature control - many heating options. All necessary consumables are in one box. Virtually painless hair removal with smooth results. If you have a lot of experience and really know what you are doing, this is a good set. When I first used this I made a huge mess in my bathroom and got wax all over it. This wax is NOT EASY TO REMOVE FROM surfaces OR your skin. Thankfully, a wax removing lotion is included, but it takes a lot of time to remove all the wax and the lotion itself leaves a greasy residue. The second time I was smart enough to put newspaper under the pad to keep it from dripping and put on gloves to protect my hands. It worked much better but it was still a big mess and the waxing itself was very time consuming. I also don't feel that the wax spreads very easily or evenly and ended up being very disappointed with the whole ordeal. General Opinion: If you're inexperienced or having trouble accessing any of the areas you're waxing, I really don't recommend trying it. It's a lot more trouble and chaos than it's worth. The amount of money I would save at home is not worth the time and effort. I'll go back to the salon and have a professional do it.
