I am in love with this coat. It's so warm and comfy and keeps me warm: I wore it in -18 degrees Fahrenheit with a cold wind of -27 degrees Fahrenheit - we have such nice winter weather ;-) and it was very warm even without the extra layers underneath . It has weight and thickness, the fabric is very soft. It just feels so good. It's not exactly waterproof either, but it snowed once but didn't get wet. He's really big. I gained heavy pounds good apologies right LOL and bought Wednesday. I'm 5ft 3in, 130lbs, 38in chest and still had enough room for a heavy layer of clothing. Now that I've lost the extra 10 pounds it's too big, but I don't care. I like that the heavy hood is detachable and the large collar is lined with soft material so it feels comfortable when fully zipped. Usually heavier and thicker coats/jackets bother me a lot because I feel stuck, I can move around just as freely and it's ok to wear a different type. But I fell in love with the style and color of it and took a chance. We also have brutally cold winters, so that fits the bill. I don't think anyone will regret buying it.
