Works for what I need.
For quick anchoring on the beach while kayaking. Tighten the nuts and the knife insert stays in your hand. I've used them on branches when I came over to crochet. Just a short throw and most of the time I'm clinging to a hard branch. Fish for a while and pull on it and unhook it.
