In addition to a large AV system, I have several smaller TVs that I am slowly upgrading to HD inputs. In some cases I was able to run an HDMI cable through walls. However, there is one wall where this is not possible. The coaxial cable was already going to the TV in that room. This product has been working great since installing it a few days ago. Both minor problems were my fault. First I saw 4 products on the product page. Great, for this price I get 2 systems. I didn't stop to realize that this was a front and back view of the one and only pair I was going to get. It's not the seller's fault. This is mine. Second, I didn't immediately notice that it's not just a one-screw coaxial connection. I found some outrageously expensive screw-to-BCN converters at Radio Shack. (If you're looking to buy these, note that they're a lot cheaper here at Revain.) After everything was hooked up, the signal worked fine. Sure, it's a 22-inch screen, not huge, but on this small screen the signal is great and DirecTV doesn't send me a "This isn't an HDMI device" message. I'm happy with it and might buy another one so I can stop using the unreliable wireless HDMI going to my porch TV.
