A dull blade is a waste of money and time

Needed asap and let me down. Changing the blade on the serger is easy - no problem. The blade itself was dull and would not cut through more than two thin layers without damaging the fabric. On the other hand, if it's too thin, it won't cut it either, just eat it up and spoil the fabric again. I ended up just ordering from a local repair shop to make sure I was actually cutting and not wasting time. upset.
