Review on Sony MDR-EX15LPW White In-Ear Headphones with MDREX15 by Akmal ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I am satisfied with the product, it is made well, the price is also pleasing.

On the basis of the reviews, I decided to get my daughter some in-ear headphones. I purchased the pink ones. Beautiful. Daughter is delighted. They wrote that they sound "almost like studio ones," but I don't agree with that assessment. In comparison to my old, inexpensive home monitors Technics RP-F550, these ones sound noticeably worse, with high crackles, a lot of lows, and in general, a little plastic sound (tested on a good sound card). Even if it sounds better than the typical recordings made on a smartphone, I wanted to find a way to improve it even further. As I mentioned up top, I don't find this particular style of headphones to be particularly comfortable to wear for extended periods of time.

Pros
  • The sound quality is superior to that of standard smartphones, but it does not provide much joy when listening to music; the brand is well-known, and the craftsmanship is outstanding.
Cons
  • It is not very convenient to wear this type of headphones; in my own experience, in-ear headphones are more convenient than over-the-ear headphones.
