Updated about 2 weeks after receiving the radio: I wrote earlier that the radio does not come with a power cord. Well it really is! It was hidden in a battery compartment that I just discovered! Support never mentioned this part! They forced me to order the power plug I received today but it was the wrong cord. While trying to figure out what to buy instead, I accidentally opened the battery compartment and that was the moment. Voila. I found a string. Original review: I spent a few hours searching the internet for a little trip after a few days. a radio with an AC/DC plug that plugs into a wall outlet. I looked at radios in many stores. It was difficult to meet all my specs, so I compromised on the size. That's twice as much as I wanted. Also compromised by switching to something unbranded. I think I couldn't find the specs for what I wanted, even for branded radios, or the prices were very high. In any case, I think the sound and clarity of the radio is decent enough. (Honestly I don't know if it's really good for its size or not lol. I haven't bought a portable radio in about 30 years lol). It is very light and therefore good for traveling. I like listening to local radio stations. Trying to send them to foreign countries is getting too complicated for me. That's why I bought a radio. I just wanted to improve my travel experience a little bit by listening to local radio. THE RADIO DOES NOT COME WITH A POWER CORD. That's my biggest complaint. I borrowed neighbors to check the radio. I called Revain about this and they gave me a loan to buy one of these. I bought it blindly, not realizing that it would take about 3 weeks to receive it. I'm glad that my next trip is in 6 weeks, otherwise I would be very annoyed about it. I hope the radio is of decent quality and works for a while and that it picks up a lot of stations abroad.
