This cable won't charge my iPhone

I bought this cable because I like the cable that lights up while charging. The problem is that it doesn't charge. When I connect it to my iPhone, it charges for about 5-10 seconds and then stops. I will never buy this cable again! Always make sure the cables you buy are Apple certified when using them with Apple products.
