This solar charger is great for protecting our car battery when we don't use the car for a while. It arrives nicely packaged but has a very chemical smell so we left it outside for a couple of weeks before putting it in the car to keep it from smelling. It is easy to use as all you have to do is plug the charger into your car's cigarette lighter socket and place the solar panel in a window where it can be exposed to the sun's rays. The solar panel is larger than others we've tried.
