I received these DVD storage bags. They are not expensive for a set of 2. I keep a bag on the top shelf of my entertainment center where I often watch DVDs and open bags. The zippers have held up well since July. The second bag is on a row of bookshelves with a 4 inch gap between shelves. It contains seasonal sets of 4-7 discs. The Rip has a bulky 7 disc set to keep it going. On one side of my bookshelf, leaning against the wall, is a picture in a glass frame. No problem! There is one problem - when I opened the box and unzipped the bag, I smelled strongly of new plastic! (similar to a new car sitting in the hot sun). The only solution I know of that works for sure is airing the bags for at least 10 days and using disinfectant wipes. clean because it masks the odor or increases the odor of the plastic and reduces the effectiveness of the plastic with prolonged use or dissolves the plastic.
