Review on 🌿 Shea Moisture African Balancing Moisturizer: Restoring Skin's Natural Harmony by Laurie Garcia

I don't know what happened here, but they sent me a slightly different product than "Moisturizing Cream for Problem Skin". I had one with the correct label and the second jar I ordered said "balancing skin moisturizer" and had various ingredients including coconut oil which is very bad for acne prone skin (it's comodogenic). Rating 5 - very congestive probably pores). Revain refunded my money - thank you. However, it looks like Unilever (owner of Shea) sold to pigeon manufacturers last year. This explains the changes in the composition of the product. Dove also tests on animals, and while Shea still says it doesn't say it on their labels, I don't trust them. I can't even believe my first jar didn't have coconut oil in it. I've been using it for a few weeks and while it's hydrating I've had an oilier complexion and new breakouts (small closed comodones and uneven texture. ugh). I will explore other vegan moisturizers that don't contain coconut oil and don't cause acne.
