So in the past I've always had a traditional 2 or 3 fold leather wallet and they've been great. One of the things my physical therapist said could get worse was sitting in my wallet full of jam for long periods of the day. I happened to be looking for a new wallet at the time, so I took the opportunity to explore the "minimalist" type. Of course, that meant I had to downsize. which I didn't want at first, because how was I supposed to get along without the AC guy's three-year-old business card that came out at the time. or countless others. but gradually I went through it all and came to the conclusion that all I really "needed" was my credit/debit cards, driver's license, various insurance cards, and I chose some sort of tracking card in case I got my new wallet lose . I know Ekster has its own tracking card, but I already had a Tile on my keychain and was already using their app on my phone, so I decided to try Tile Slim (since it's about two credits in size). maps compiled). So after many days of research, I decided that the Ekster Parliament would suit me as a wallet to carry all my essentials, as well as a wallet that fits neatly and compactly in my front pocket. This wallet also has RFID blocking at the branch where your cards are kept. So that was also another "check" for this product on my needs list. The wallet itself seems very well made and the leather is nice and soft (exactly what I would expect from a traditional wallet). The card slot has a neat feature at the bottom where by simply pushing your finger inward while holding it, you force the cards inside a step up where you can select the one you need at the moment. I've seen others say that this feature causes all of their cards to stack, and all I can say is that it doesn't apply to the ones I have. I think the number of cards in the department will dictate how this will work. I have five of these myself, and some have raised letters and numbers, some don't. I've found that the expansion of the cards can be controlled by how fast you pull the lever. If I press on them slowly with a little force, they lift up just enough to see what I need. a quick press, they stay the way they look in my picture above. I hope this mechanism will last a long time, given its price it should, but only time will tell. It is only remarkable that even with the few cards that I have in my wallet that are not in the storage compartment, the wallet does not want to close. I see that the manufacturer says it will stay that way until the skin naturally stretches and takes shape, which makes sense, but even if it doesn't, the pros of this product outweigh the cons for me and I wouldn't send it back because of that. Anyway, on me it just stays open on the bedside table and doesn't close, but when I put it in my pocket it keeps it completely closed. I have included photos from my Apple Watch to show the size of this product and how it compares to the Tile Slim. which I keep in the hole in the back. Overall I would definitely recommend this product if you are in the market. a minimalist wallet, but you still need the leather-like feel and extra storage you're used to from a traditional wallet. I will update this review if I have any issues with the mechanism or any other issues not caused by me. I would also like to point out that the wallet came in a nicely wrapped black box wrapped in plastic. If you receive one with the box not wrapped in plastic I would be weary of the fact that it is probably a return and look for a replacement. Just my advice.
