Compared to other rear view mirrors this is the best I have had. Mirrors must be flat, which creates the problem of a wider field of view, and lengthening the mirror is the only solution to keep it flat and widen the field of view. Concave mirrors distort the image, making objects directly behind you appear closer than they really are. It is "slightly curved" which causes less distortion and is more than functional. I haven't tested the blue tint for highlights, but the curvature is great for that purpose.
