The perfect gift for a new toddler. Teaches balance and the concept of cycling. The best way to prepare your child or grandchild. Our one year old had one 28 years ago. We stayed on top of a hill and it was great. He walked down the sidewalk, accelerating and eventually crashing into grass and ivy or slowing down. Eventually, he learned to pull his right foot to the right rear wheel and turn into the driveway and then into the garage. He learned how to manage speed, brake, turn etc. By the age of 2 he had worn him down beyond repair. Note. We bought it for our grandson and expect him to be riding bikes and motorbikes by the age of 3 like his father and uncle. This design is highly recommended: two plastic wheels on the back, light weight, perfect height. You can't go wrong. The only thing my grandson and I will do differently is put on a helmet ;-)
