I have Bought this for our kitchen pantry which was always dark, especially on the bottom shelves. I mounted it on the side panel near the door hinges at my wife's request. It was easy to assemble with the included screws and anchors. I put it on a motion detector, it works great. It never stopped turning on and off shortly after the door was closed. We've only had it for about a month so I can't say how long the battery will last, but my wife is happy with it. The light is not too bright but bright enough to be seen comfortably in a small 3ft by 3ft pantry. I'll probably buy another one for the utility closet as they work well and are a lot easier than running electrical wire.
