This is good and bad. I'll start with the good. They go pretty easily. If they don't sit exactly where you want them, you can just take them off and start over as many times as you like. They are clear and almost invisible. Different sizes allow you to adapt them to your furniture. You can cut them to fit your furniture with regular scissors. Now for the bad. Yes, you can take them off and try again. But as any pet owner knows, fur is everywhere in your home, so be prepared to see it every time you clean and tape it. Cutting is easy, but do you cut them how you want? Not so easy. The corners of all leaves are rounded. I don't know about you, but my furniture has straight lines. I bought XL panels and still had to use at least five or six panels for each piece of furniture to cover one or two sides of that piece of furniture. When I first started working on this project, I focused on the areas I thought our cat would be most likely to scratch and hate the most: our leather sofas and my fabric chair. We just focused on the corners of the two pieces of furniture that he could easily reach that we couldn't cover with a blanket yet, and then put scratching posts around them to see how he did it. The first month he went scratching, when he touched those sheets, they worked like they were supposed to. He was weird and switched to scratching posts. However, after a month he decided he liked my fabric chair and we needed to put more sheets on it. That's when it got difficult. These leaves don't bend, so it wasn't possible to cut or move them to do this. The screws that came with it didn't help me much. I had to cut out the smallest pieces to fit the angles that these sheets just aren't designed for, which of course furniture has. Take a look at the chair or sofa you are currently sitting on. Pay attention to the armrest or its back. See how it bends, see the bizarre, almost non-rectangular shape the furniture maker has created? Well, these sheets aren't perfect squares or rectangles, so you'll need two or three to cover them, which means you'll either need to layer on top of each other or cut out multiple pieces to cover one side of your sofa. It doesn't seem difficult, but when you're on your hands and knees on the floor for forty minutes and you're trying for the fifth time to smooth out that sticky sheet on your nice cloth chair without another bit of cat hair sticking to it, then trim it properly so there isn't a sharp point sticking out at the top and you'll understand why I only gave it three stars. This is a great solution for temporary repairs.
